E.P.S. Germany GmbH, under the Rudolf Waechter railway technology brand, will be exhibiting at DCRPS Leipzig 2026, taking place from 12–13 March 2026 in Leipzig, Germany.
During the event, EPS Germany will present its latest developments in railway infrastructure protection and monitored voltage limiting technology (VLD) designed for demanding rail and signalling environments. The showcased solutions focus on protecting critical railway systems against long-duration overvoltage conditions, transient disturbances and electrical stress occurring in modern traction power networks.
A key highlight will be the VLD 2.2 system with integrated monitoring, enabling continuous supervision of operational parameters such as current, voltage and device temperature. The monitoring capability allows infrastructure operators to detect abnormal operating conditions early and supports predictive maintenance strategies, helping to reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
The presented technology has already been successfully deployed in real railway environments and demonstrates a cost-efficient alternative to conventional protection concepts while maintaining high operational reliability.
Visitors are invited to meet the EPS Germany team to discuss railway protection requirements, infrastructure resilience and intelligent monitoring approaches for next-generation rail networks.
We look forward to welcoming industry partners, infrastructure managers and railway technology specialists at DCRPS Leipzig 2026.
