Company profile

History and Tradition

The foundations of RW date back to 1946, when its founder Rudolf Waechter began producing and developing electronic components, specialized solutions for electric motors, their windings and industrial applications. Originally, it was a small family business operating in Austria,Germany, and Budapest.

After the Soviet occupation of Hungary and the beginning of normalization, the company was forced to transform into a nationalized enterprise. Rudolf Waechter emigrated to Australia, where he continued his research and development.

After 1989, the company regained its original assets and know-how. However, for generational reasons, it was not possible to immediately resume production, and therefore a gradual transformation took place. With the entry of several investors, the RW brand was temporarily subdued and its know-how was mainly used for products of other brands.

New Era and Growth

A major turning point came in 2018, when EPS Global became a strategic investor.

RW thus once again began to develop and manufacture its own products under its historic brand. This restored the company’s tradition and strengthened its identity, which today continues the founder’s legacy – combining innovation, quality, and partnership.

Present and Vision

Today, the RW brand is fully established in the market and offers revolutionary solutions based on its own research, development, and patents.

The company’s products are unique in their innovation, responding to the challenges of digitalization, automation, sustainability, and environmental protection.
